This weeks dose of Mikaelson drama was actually good. Although we still have to deal with Cami and Klaus going back and forth, the rest of the plot was intriguing. I’m not a fan of the current direction of Cami’s character and the way Klaus is only focused on her. Cami’s character doesn’t really make sense to me. She’s either being saved or looked after all the time.
Hayley dealing with the loss of her husband Jackson was more genuine this week. I was worried that he would be a forgotten thought but I was glad to see the show decided to mourn the death of Jackson and not include Hayley/Elijah drama just yet.
Davina also returned after a long absence. At first I thought the episode would be about her dealing with being shunned but I was delightfully wrong. On her quest to get back to Kol, she had to enter the afterlife to ask Kol if the spell she received would work. Honestly, seeing the original Kol filled me with so much excitement. Bringing on board another Mikaelson might help the show return back to its old glory.
This episode filled me with a lot of hope for the future. With no imminent threat just yet and the possibility of Kol returning, I can’t wait to see what happens next.
