Last episode of The Vampire Diaries, we saw Damon (Ian Somerhalder) going to Bonnie (Kat Graham) with flowers and found her embracing Enzo (Michael Malarkey), then she closed the door on his face. Poor Damon, Bonnie do not seem to have the intention to forgive him anytime soon, for his decision to desiccate.
After refreshing that, let me tell you that this episode basically evolved around two main points: the development of Bonnie and Enzo relationship, and the confrontation between Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Alaric (Matt Davis). The whole episode was all about this two situations.
Therefore, let me start with the first point: Bonnie and Enzo relationship or better known as Bonenzo. In the last review I told you all that I did felt a spark of chemistry between this two characters, then let me tell you now that after this episode that chemistry is very present on this two, I felt it. Their scenes were very cute and the sexual tension was there! My favorite Bonenzo scene was the New Year Eve dinner, Enzo was charming and looking great, Bonnie too.
Anyway, leaving Bonenzo aside, after Enzo and Bonnie learned about the toxicity of the pills, Enzo abducted Reyna to help them heal Bonnie, and naturally Damon wanted to help too. So, the plan is to transfer the last life of Reyna into Bonnie. Damon even proposed to help her get rid of all the vampires that escaped the sword so convinced her to accept the deal. She told them that if they proved to her that they could in fact get rid of those vampires, then she would think about the life transfer. So, the trio (Bonnie, Enzo and Damon) decided to take care of Reyna’s list.
Meanwhile, Stefan went to see Caroline (Candice King) in Dallas but instead found Alaric. They had a very heated conversation about Caroline claiming who knows her better and dictating how her life should be. I would not get into much detail here, because in my fair opinion, Caroline should send them both away and think about herself and about what she really wants. Please, let her be single! Her character does not have to be attached to a man always. Sorry, so that being said, let me continue. Since, Reyna’s list was long enough, and the trio needed to hurry up, Damon tried to get Stefan and Alaric to help them get rid of the vamps.
Also, basically the episode was that, the trio killing vamps, while Stefan and Alaric killed vamps too and fight over Caroline. Oh, and the beautiful scenes of Bonenzo flashbacks. I must say I’m really happy to see Bonnie happy over an unconditional love interest.
Finally, by the end of the episode we got a glimpse of Caroline when Stefan and Alaric were arguing at the front door. She didn’t even paid any attention to Stefan and just kissed Alaric’s cheek and that’s it. This let me a little salty, I wanted to know more about her visit to New Orleans, but well let’s see what happens next.
So, what did you thought about this episode? Did you liked Bonnie and Enzo? What about the triangle between Stefan, Alaric and Caroline? Remember to drop a comment bellow!
