This episode of Chicago Fire was bittersweet. Portraying death side-by-side with budding mother-child love wrecked my emotions. Speaking of the death, I personally would have liked to see the brothers relationship unfold on the matter of the liquor license a bit more before one of them died, but their last moments in the collapsing building were still impactful. The actor behind the remaining brother gave an impressive performance at the very end of the episode, which honestly showed the difficulty death can bring, especially in these circumstances.
I can’t wait to see how the fostering unfolds. I, for one, hope Dawson gets to bring Louie home. It is so clear they are meant to be! What are your thoughts on the matter? Let me know in the comments.
