This one is only one day late. 😛
A girl escapes from the basement of the man who held her (and did things to her) there for 10 years. Apparently, he died of a heart attack. (I hope it was painful.) The downside to this escape? One of the members of the team was the one who convicted someone of killing the girl.
That member of the team spends most of the episode trying to prove to everyone that he was right. But when he finally pulls his head out of his ass he manages to connect some other, a little less obvious, but more truthful dots.
The woman who said that the convicted man left with the girl was lying. She kidnapped the girl so that she can give the girl to the sicko. She’s a sicko too. She was angry because he kept her for so long which meant that he no longer had any attention for her. She disgusts me, probably more so than the man.
The man who was convicted is released but says he will never forgive the guy who prosecuted him. I mean, would you?
B Story: The DA is going to take a deal that might end his career. That is before Hayes swoops in to save the day. But she knew what she was doing. Turns out the DA wasn’t really saving the day. He was just doing another favor for Hayes’s family. #messeduprelationship

Made me ponder for a sec moment of this episode: What would I do if someone had kidnapped me, locked me in a room, and abused me? Hopefully, fight like hell to get out everyday. Then the other question. What would I do if someone had kidnapped me, locked me in a room, abused me, and then I escaped? How would I live with the memories? Would I want revenge? Most definitely.
Episodes like this scare me because I don’t understand how some men or some women could treat women (or men/children) like that.
