While the previous episode was a slower one, Grey’s is now back on its drama! Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) returned back to work. Of course her nerves nearly gave her away, as they tend to do, but she pulled through with a help of cocky Tom (Greg Germann) who saved her life by taking her tumor out and, at the end of the episode, he was the guy she spent more intimate time with.
It’s interesting just how quickly Amelia got over Owen (Kevin McKidd) and similary, how quickly he got over her when he was making out with DeLuca’s (Giacomo Gianniotti) sister. As I said, drama! DeLuca seems to be caught in trouble as well, since he recognized the girl who is one of the new interns. She might be his old/new romantic interest.
Last romantic issue would be Jo’s (Camilla Luddington) one. She decided to take a very bold step by getting a divorce from her violent husband. I am afraid that this idea will backfire on her, but since Alex (Justin Chambers) FINALLY got some luck in romance, I hope Shonda doesn’t have any crazy idea of killing Jo off.
Alex spent a day off on the yacht, by the way, with Jackson (Jessee Williams) and other guys, which led Ben (Jason George) into declaring that he is going to train to be a firefighter and Jackson into deciding that he wants more competition in his life and therefore he is establishing somekind of a new project at Grey’s hospital. That sounds better than spending money on expensive yachts, can we agree?
Of course Miranda Bailey (Chandra Wilson) didn’t mind that idea. She is currently the boss of incredible doctors! Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) has been nominated for a Harper Avery award, which is huge news for her! Sadly, she lost a patient minutes before she heard the news, but at least the loss of her patient led her into deciding to try to save more people who cannot get transplants. Meanwhile, Richard (James Pickens Jr.) is achieving new milestones too by getting new interns and planning to train them!
To sum it up, it has been an important episodes for many characters. Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) is waiting for her daughter to return home, Maggie (Kelly McCreary) is TRYING to date and April (Sarah Drew) actually had a gunshot wound from a patient who hid her gun inside herself to help her boyfriend who is in prison.
Like I said … Important episode, ha!
