Wow, so now I can really say this crossover is literally the best crossover ever! We literally can call this DC TV’s Justice League, I mean seriously one of these days they are going to have to call on our small screens a name for their team ups. And it would be nice if they called it Justice League! But that might never happen as well now that we are going to be getting Justice League live action movies! But we shall see in future crossovers!
The finale of the crossover, here we are! We continue right where The Flash leaves off. Stein (Victor Garber) shot twice and bleeding out losing way too much blood, Stein pulls the lever to create the breach on Earth-X to lead to Earth 1. Jax (Franz Drameh) tries getting Stein up to get through the breach. In one last attempt Jax fuses with Stein to become Firestorm. The heroes get through the breach before it closes, when they get through, Jax immediately takes Stein to the Waverider’s med bay.
I have to say with me hearing about the news of Victor Garber wanting out of the show for good. I knew they were either going to kill Stein (Garber) off or make him just leave the Legends but still be alive. And of course because of it being The CW, their solution is always to kill them off. And the scene leading up to Stein’s death really hit me hard because over the years we’ve been able to see Jax and Stein create a special bond. Not just as Firestorm, but as two humans creating a father and son bond as well. And with Jax using the serum on Stein it made Stein die. And I feel bad for Jax because he never knew his real father. And with Stein being a adoptive father towards Jax it made Stein’s death majorly hard for him because it was like Jax saying goodbye to his father.
It was because of Stein’s death that made all of the heroes of our shows join together to take down all of the Nazi’s. I have to say it was so good to see Barry/The Flash (Grant Gustin) go up against his archnemisis The Reverse Flash (Tom Cavanagh). It was literally a good homage to their first fight back in Season 1 on The Flash. But this time around it was Barry who held Reverse Flash in his grip to kill instead of it being the other way around back then. Another good homage they did was a scene with Supergirl/Kara (Melissa Benoist) when Kara had to fly Nazi Kara out of orbit cause she was about to explode was a bit of a homage to the movie Superman II. Which was nice that they did all of these homages in this final episode of the crossover!
Now the question is, what will happen to Jax now that Stein is gone and he is left alone but not fully alone. He has a family known as the Legends that will always give him strength no matter what circumstances comes his way! And when will The Reverse Flash strike again now that he is back to being alive and kicking and running again! I guess we will have to keep watching The Flash series to find out when that day will come.
In the end of the episode we had Diggle (David Ramsey) marry off Iris (Candice Patton) and Barry (Grant Gustin) and marry off at the same time Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) and Oliver (Stephen Amell) which was the best ending to the best crossover ever!
