The Flash (S04E08) "Crisis on Earth-X part 3"

With this being the third part it still continued to give us the epic pieces of the crossover! I have to agree with everyone on social media, this crossover event is indeed one of the best crossover events ever in history! This event has brought a new meaning to the word crossover, I mean we are literally seeing the Arrowverse version of Justice League and this crossover event feels so much like a Justice League film that we are seeing on our television screens!

So with this episode we left off where Arrow ended which is good! Sara (Caity Lotz), Barry (Grant Gustin), Oliver (Stephen Amell), Jax (Franz Drameh), Stein (Victor Garber), and Alex (Chyler Leigh) all are lead to their lined up execution on Earth-X by Nazi General Lance (Paul Blackthorne). Which I have to say this version of Lance is literally the most hated version ever! Like he plays bad so good, but I hate seeing how much the character has evolved to being a good guy that now this version brings us back to remembering how we hated him at first. Thankfully a caring Citizen Cold (Wentworth Miller) came to the rescue!

With this episode we pretty much were only taken to Earth-X and how our heroes were working on making a escape to that earth to their own. However there were problems on Earth 1, like Kara (Melissa Benoist) being prepped for surgery and not the good kind either! We also got history from Eobard/Fake Wells (Tom Cavanagh) about how in the future he faced off against Superman and the fight. In what universe would Superman ever lose to the Reverse Flash? I don’t think there ever was a universe where that would happen but I guess things would have to be different in the DC TV Universe.

I have to say though, I am really happy that they brought Metallo (Frederick Schmidt) to the crossover event! Metallo is one of the Superman villains that I really liked. I don’t know why I always liked him, but I do! And sure it was Earth-X version of the character I wonder if they will bring Kara’s Earth’s version of the character to life on Supergirl series!

We also had a character be lead to their death on this episode as well and truth be told it hit me hard people! Like I think I’m going to be rewatching these moments because of all what happened. Its so much for a brain to keep in memory banks! I mean this was literally the best crossover episodes ever! But I still have one more review to do of the crossover event before I can say that it is the best!

I do love though for this episode how we had Cisco (Carlos Valdes) in his own designed prison cells! Which was irony if you ask me!
