You know with every episode we the fans get a whole lot of satisfaction, if this series does not get renewed for like hundreds of more seasons I’m pretty sure I will give up on Syfy channel shows after that because this series is the best. We literally get so much amazing adventures and we get so much awesome fight sequences and the whole series is just amazing. I would literally have to say this series is the best vampire series on the air or even ever!
So with this episode we had our beloved team split up again and just when they all were a happy band of vampire kicking ass in search for Vanessa (Kelly Overton) but no they had to split up having Doc (Rukiya Benard) and Julius (Aleks Paunovic) on their duo adventures again and we had Scarlett (Missy Peregrym) and Axel (Jonathan Scarfe) walk on their own path to fight the sisterhood. I have to say it was nice to have the adventures of Doc and Julius happen again; I kinda missed it, I mean sure it happened for like only two episodes before but this episode made me realize how much I missed it.
So with the adventures of Doc and Julius; Julius discovers there are different flavors of potato chips and of course he has to try them. I mean who wouldn’t want to try them, we got barbecue, sour cream and onion, sea salt, and many more that I can’t think of right now but I know they are amazing! It makes me wonder what else would Julius like if he gets to discover it? I mean how would Julius feel about pumpkin flavored everything? But at least he had the privilege of seeing Julius trying a kit-kat bar which is one of the greatest chocolates ever in my opinion.
And I know I kept saying in the last reviews how I wanted more story and background flashbacks about Scarlett (Missy Peregrym) and now that we are getting at least a part of her teenage years in a flashback this episode. I have to say I am impressed with the scenes. I still would like to see more though on the flashbacks but I know if we focus on Scarlett way too much then we are taking the story away from Vanessa which we can’t do. But it is nice to see that Scarlett now has the same abilities as Vanessa. But was it really because of the bite that Vanessa did to her or was it really only a matter of time before Scarlett’s inner abilities activated? I guess its one of the mysteries that will be revealed sooner or later.
All I can really say though is this series never lets us down, but I don’t think that Julius is dead though. I have a feeling we will see him back again in a episode or two later but while we are waiting to see what Dimitri (Paul Johansson) is going to do to our poor Julius. Hopefully he doesn’t try torturing him in ways that we will be screaming at our TV’s for. Anyway, lets be happy that we are getting Vanessa back next episode after all I truly have missed Vanessa in the recent episodes.
