Little Women premieres

Dramatisation of Louisa May Alcott’s novel about the lives of the four March sisters during the American Civil War.
The series is about Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy March and their journey from childhood to womanhood. With the help of their mother Marmee while their father is away at war, the sisters navigate their way through growing up and what it means to be a woman, from gender roles to sibling rivalry, love, marriage and loss.
Little Women will air on three consecutive nights starting today on BBC.
