Supergirl (S03E11) "Fort Rozz"

I’m sad with this episode, yes this episode itself was a great one. But why did they have to lead into a great villains death? Why, I loved that villain; the creators could’ve done so, so, so much more stories with her and yet they just axed her off! Now I know what it’s like to have almost every character you like die!

So with this episode Supergirl/Kara (Melissa Benoist) had to recruit the help of Saturn Girl, Psi (Yael Grobglass), and Livewire (Brit Morgan) to help with her mission to return to Fort Rozz to find answers from Jindah Rozz (Sarah Douglas) about Reign (Odette Annable). Which I was super happy to know that we were getting Livewire back for an episode, cause she has always been the one villain from season 1 that I truly loved and favorited! But I guess we wont get anymore of her after this episode but I will get to that in a little bit!

So when we first see Livewire in this episode we see her as a waitress, I never thought I would ever see that villain as a waitress though. Like it’s a good cover so that Reign doesn’t come knocking on your door saying your “guilty” but out of all the cover’s that Livewire could’ve done she chose waitress. Although that get up she wore as a waitress, she makes that look so good too. Anything that Livewire wears always looks so good on her. Is it weird that I like this bad girl so much?

Then of course there is Psi, I really didn’t like her when they first brought her on for her first episode. I really thought of her as just a royal pain and annoyance but she did step it up by trying to take control of her powers to help be a hero in this episode and that I can respect. Psi is one of those villains that you can hate but also love at the same time! But I will also say that the way how she said that whole story rhyme describing Reign’s arrival on Fort Rozz was really creepy.

So with this episode Supergirl had her talk with Jindah but the only answers that she got from the old dark kryptonian was Reign isn’t the only world killer out there. There are two others Purity and Pestilence which I have to say having all three of them together would almost be like the four horsemen of the apocalypse but instead of four theres only three. Sadly we wont be able to see Purity in action until February 5th’s episode but now that we’ve met Purity, I’m wondering who they will have playing Pestilence? Are all of them going to be women? That last question was just curiosity.

But I did like though that Livewire sacrificed herself to save Supergirl’s life. Yes people, you heard me right, Livewire died this episode! And I’m sad about that she was one of the great villains that I always loved and just like that zapped by Reign’s heat vision and Livewire is dead. I really don’t like that because there are so many comic stories that they could’ve done with Livewire for the show and killing her off sucks majorly! I mean sure if they really wanted to they could have Supergirl go to another earth where Livewire is alive and grab her and bring her to her own earth but that would just confuse the audience! But still this version of the character and how Brit Morgan portrayed her full on perfection made me happy and always made me happy to know when she was brought back for another episode. But may this character rest in peace!
