So with this episode I have to say it had it’s moments of humor, thrills, and heroics and I loved every moment of the episode! I have to say having this episode be mostly focused on Elongated Man (Hartley Sawyer) was a good change but I know it wont stay this way for long!
We got in this episode more of the Trickster family! But I kept thinking when is Jesse (Mark Hamill) is going to pop up and be critiquing everything that his wife Prank (Corinne Bohrer) and his son Axel/New Trickster (Devon Graye) where doing in this episode making the episode even more hilarious. But thats okay that never happened, it just would’ve been funny. We did have a lot of action and tricks in this episode which made it really good. And I feel like the Trickster theme that composer Blake Neely made during Season 1 of the series is not just for Trickster but now the theme is meant to be the Trickster families theme which would be interesting!
Now I have to admit Ralph/Elongated Man has literally be one of those characters whose really annoying but he has his moments. And sure when he was about to bail out of the superhero thing, I got annoyed because he’s been working with Barry (Grant Gustin) to become as good of a hero as Barry but instead when the city was in need of him he was about to go run like a scared little puppy! I mean yeah he changed his mind but it took Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) and Cisco (Carlos Valdes) to get captured!
Now as for Barry’s situation in prison, is it freaky that Barry pulls of the prison look way, way, way too well. I mean the way how he dressed was literally prison material! Now I will have to admit when I first heard about Bill Goldberg being casted on this episode I was like “oh god, what the hell are they thinking?” But when seeing this episode my mind has been changed! Like it’s awesome to have Big Sir/Dave (Bill Goldberg) on Barry’s side. Even though Big Sir squared off his debt with Henry Allen that happened long ago but now Big Sir has a debt with Barry. But Barry isn’t seeing it as a debt he is seeing it as making a friend which is something good to always have especially in prison!
Even if Barry stays in prison for most of the season at least he will have his buddy Big Sir to help him out from now on. Lets hope nothing bad happens to Big Sir cause that would suck! But at least for now we can enjoy Big Sir and Barry enjoying team ups in prison!
