This episode brought a lot of information to the table for our dear Legends. And we finally had our dear side kick speedster join the Legends as well on his first mission which I was always looking forward to. But each episode is becoming an improvement I just hope this series gets renewed so that we can have more amazing adventures with the disfunctional hero family guess we will see soon.
So with this episode we had Ray (Brandon Routh) kidnapped by the Darhk’s! Which with that scenario you know things are not good, especially with super-villain family being the kidnappers. When Damien (Neal McDonough) chooses to have Ray’s smarts to reconstruct the fire totem to it’s full power, Ray declines and tells them there is no way to reconstruct without cold fusion only to find out that there was such a thing back in the 60’s in Germany but never made it to the light of day thanks to you guessed it Damien himself. Apparently Ray and Nora (Courtney Ford) need to go back to the 60’s to retrieve the formula for cold fusion so Ray can reconstruct the totem. Unlike Damien; Nora is a human being to her word and was working to get the formula so Ray can do his work. But instead things go awry and as always father dearest thinks he has to come to the rescue!
Now when they first said that they were going to be bringing in Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) at first I was thinking it could be a good thing especially if the ship loses all time traveling abilities and they need a speedster to help them get the ship through time itself. But it’s Kid Flash though, what could go wrong, after all he’s still suffering from the heartbreak of Jesse (Violet Beane) and he needs something to help him keep his mind off of that. But with this being Wally’s first official mission episode it turned out to be a good move. Especially when they had Wally speed to save Ray and get the fire totem from Damien’s possession.
Speaking of totems, we finally know why Mallus (John Noble) is so afraid of “The Six” which means six totem barres; it was long time ago when the totems were first made the first barres had to use the totems to imprison the demon more like a time prison. But with the time prison now being in jeopardy, it’s up to Rip (Arthur Darvill) and the Legends to find a way to stop the Darhk’s from making the time quakes. If they fail and don’t have the new totem barres on their side then the demon Mallus will once again be free to bring chaos and destruction to the world and all of time once again.
Now that Grodd has taken out the director of the Time Bureau, now it’s Eva’s (Jess Macallan) turn to become director of the bureau and to restore order and make the bureau what it used to be and not have this whole vendetta against Rip. But it still comes to the question, what is Eva going to do if Grodd comes back and chooses to destroy everything of the bureau? And another thing, what is Rip hiding from Sara (Caity Lotz) about Eva? I just hope it’s not something like Eva being Sara’s future daughter which would be awkward cause the two of them kissed and had sexual things with each other. If that ends up being the case then I will have my jaw dropped. But I’m sure once Sara does learn about the truth, it will break her or turn her on, guess we will see.
