Okay this episode was an interesting turn of events for our heroes and for unlikely allies! And we got the lovely Katee Sackhoff back for another round in this episode! That truly made me happy to know that she returned for another round in this season. I believe that made this her 3rd round with members of our Team Flash. But lets get to the review!
Okay so in this episode had a dilemma that needed to be solved, and it was would Iris (Candice Patton) create the article that she so creatively put together to share with the world that their intelligence would be stolen from them or should she not create the article. During the decision making Barry/The Flash (Grant Gustin) chose to give Caitlin’s (Danielle Panabaker) idea a try. By recruiting Amunet Black (Katee Sackhoff) to help the team take down Devoe’s (Neil Sandilands) satellites so his device doesn’t turn all her customers and her into complete idiots. After all Amunet has always seen herself as an intelligent criminal, and plus she is pretty attractive even if she is a villain, shes the one villain that is really attractive.
When Amunet Black agrees to work with the team, she has conditions and terms that must be met in order for her to work with Team Flash. And it didn’t really help that Amunet could tell that it was Barry under the Flash suit by his jaw line and what she called pretty eyes. I have to say that I really like Amunet, and how she can just point someone out just by a few little details. Sounds a lot like something that I can do with everyone who I meet which having a skill like that is really impressive cause not a lot of people have skills like that. But it was awesome to have a team up with Amunet Black; and we had Norvock (Mark Sweatman) do a big betrayal towards Amunet which I really didn’t see him trying to be his own boss like ever. Cause every time we’ve seen Norvock he’s always been a henchman, and seeing him trying to be a big boss was really sad. Norvock is one of those villains that is never really taken seriously and you just can’t take him seriously either cause he’s not that threatening. The only thing freaky about Norvock is that snake eye of his.
With Amunet helping Team Flash, the only thing she needs is the rest of the metal shards that she uses for her powers. However Norvock stole the rest of the shards and they have to either kill him or render him useless to surrender the shards. Even though Amunet would’ve wanted to kill Norvock, then again who else would love to kill that snake? But at least Barry and Caitlin were able to talk Amunet out of killing Norvock cause they can see more than just a criminal in Amunet which is really touching. But then again Amunet and Caitlin did have a touching moment about some of her tech that Amunet used on Caitlin last year to reveal it never worked, and the whole scene makes you see that Amunet and Caitlin maybe on two different sides but Amunet has always had a special place in her heart for Caitlin and in a way has always tried being a friend to her as well. Which is why Amunet trusted Caitlin in this episode a whole lot, given their heated confrontations in the last episodes that Amunet was on, this episode showed a whole different side to the character which I still loved.
This episode is definitely titled as one of my favorite episodes of the season, not just because it has Katee Sackhoff in the episode but also because we had game changing moments in the episode, lets just hope these moments that were game changing pay off for the season finale in two weeks!
