This episode of #RHONY featured Bethenny’s mission trips to save Puerto Rico, the fate of Adam and Carole’s relationship, and several coupon cabin commercials.
Carole learns that Adam’s been exploring other options, and apparently is serious about a new flame. They broke up, and for someone who’s been very nonchalant about the status of their relationship, Carole actually seemed upset. She and Tinsley discuss over brunch, where Tinsley is Carole’s biggest cheerleader.
Most of the show focuses on Bethenny’s relief aid missions to Puerto Rico, and we see her huge warehouse full of four tons of aid for the devastated people. She decides to bring Dorinda with her, because, according to Bethenny, Dorinda has been the only one to really ask her about her charity work. That plan goes awry, however, when Dorinda shows up drunk at a thank you dinner Bethenny threw for the people helping her out and completely made a fool of herself. The next day, she and Bethenny had a major heart to heart, where Bethenny said she’s a drunk and needs to get help. Dorinda agrees, and says certain things have been triggering her drinking.
Meanwhile Carole, Tinsley, and Ramona meet up to get their nails done and Ramona lets it slip that Bethenny decided to take Dorinda to Puerto Rico instead of Carole. Carole acts hurt, saying that out of all the women she’d had the most experience dealing with these things as a reporter for ABC News. She seems puzzled, and another crack in the Bethenny/Carole friendship is revealed.
While all of this is going on, Sonja’s decided to rent her townhouse and is having to fix a few things and declutter, well, everything, and hopes that once she does this she can move on with her life. I think once she does let go of the townhouse, it’ll be a big step of her letting go of her past and her ex. Speaking of exes, LuAnn meets with her daughter Victoria and discuss her whirlwind marriage and its demise. She finally admitted she had blinders on and should never have gotten married so fast. To be fair, the whole twitterverse did try to warn you girl!
So what did you think of the episode? Is Dorinda a drunk? Do you think she ever actually got over Richard and could that be the cause of her outbursts? What did you think of the Coupon Cabin commercials? I guess we know why Scott flew from Chicago to New York after all. Let me know in the comments what you think of the episode.
