This episode Bethenny and Dorinda go to Puerto Rico to view the devastation from the hurricane and hand out relief and money. The damage done was just jarring and incredible to see. The fact that this has gone on for so long is something that’s very hard to deal with, especially knowing the lack of response from our government. This is one of the times where we can see the power of what one person can do when they put their celebrity to good use, so I say “Bravo” to Bethenny for what she was able to accomplish and is still accomplishing with her relief work on the island.
LuAnn is finally ready to put Tom behind her and start making music again, this time focusing on cabaret. Watch the clip below:
After that dose of reality, Bravo switches gears and we see the absurdity of life in the Upper East Side as Ramona and Sonja go shopping by taking a limo to Brooklyn, all while Sonja talks about how she needs her passport to go to Brooklyn. Seriously, is that still a thing these days? They shop away, spending tens of thousands on a single coat or shirt while Bravo shows Bethenny and Dorinda passing out cash cards so money can start going back into Puerto Rico’s economy. Shady, Bravo, Shady!
The divide between Sonja and Tinsley reaches a boiling point, and Bethenny makes it her business to clarify why Sonja’s mad at Tinsley. Sonja’s mad because she feels like even though Tinsley threw her the Thank you// F You party, Tinsley’s been trashing her in the press, making it seem like her house was the gateway to hell. Meanwhile, Tinsley’s mad at Sonja because Sonja’s been accusing her of being a kept woman. Bethenny and Carole get involved, and it goes from 0-100 real quick. Feelings are hurt, and Carole and Bethenny’s friendship is fractured even more.
