On this episode of #BelowDeckMed, the crew have to work together to make a picnic on the beach happen with no warning.
You know, just Kenny’s payback for Adam for #Oniongate last season.
The crew are more screwed than usual with Hannah and Jamie down with illnesses, and they scramble to make it work.
Surprisingly, Brooke, Kasey, and the crew pull of a miracle and the picnic goes off without a hitch.
The guests get back on the charter, and enjoy some time in the hot tub.
Conrad and Joao have a classic battle over Joao not showing Conrad enough deference as his superior.
Dinner’s delayed because Kenny decides to take a nap before dinner, and the rest of the guests are getting restless.
Adam delays finishing dinner so the food will be fresh for Kenny, but the guests are hungry and start complaining.
Brooke goes to wake Kenny and Amber up, but no luck.
Despite the late start to dinner, it actually goes smoothly. So smoothly in fact, Brooke, Kasey, Adam, and Sandy all remark how much smoother things are going without Hannah.
Hmmm. Do I smell a mutiny a coming?
Can it still be called Mutiny if it’s the Second Stew vs. Chief Stew?
Wait, didn’t we see this movie already?
Hannah and Jamie rally enough to join the rest of the crew the next day.
Hannah goes to shore with the guests. She’d asked Sandy if she could go and have a coke with them at the bar at their behest, and
Sandy said yes, but go there and come back. Don’t be gone for hours and hours.
Well, Hannah was gone for hours and hours, Sandy freaks out when she finds out Hannah’s still gone after being in bed all day yesterday.
By the time Hannah finally comes back, Sandy’s off the rails and ready to fire her. She banishes her to her room until she’s ready to talk to her.
So what did you guys think of the episode? Did Adam redeem himself? Was Brooke making a power play for Hannah’s job? Was Hannah wrong for staying out or doing her job? Let me know what you think in the comments.
