This episode of Young Sheldon brings back Dr Sturgis (Wallace Shawn) , Sheldon’s (Iain Armitage) mentor and Meemah’s boyfriend ( Annie Potts). Flashback to when Sheldon started auditing at East Texas Tech, He became attached to Dr sturgis (Wallace Shawn) so much that he came to the conclusion that Dr sturgis (Wallace Shawn) can be the one to help multiply the number of smart people in the family. So Sheldon (Iain Armitage) set him up with Meemah (Annie Potts).
Could Sheldon be jealous?
Now that we’re all caught up, episode two opens with Meemah (Annie potts) dropping Sheldon (Iain Armitage) off at the college as usual, but this time she decided to leave while making an excuse about not understanding physics. This leads to Sheldon saying he felt that way about dirty dancing and her reply being, “Let Patrick swasey take off his shirt I’ll be back” , the following scene showed where Sheldon met Paige (Mc Kenna Grace).
Sheldon ( Iain Armitage) later learns Dr Sturgis (Wallace Shawn) asked Paige to audit the class and the fire of jealousy was lit, he marked his territory by telling Paige (Mc Kenna Grace) that Dr sturgis (Wallace Shawn) is Meemah’s (Annie Potts) boyfriend.
Mary (Zoe Perry) learns about Paige (Mc Kenna Grace) and In order to compare notes about their genius kids, she sets up a play date. On meeting the parents Mary ( Zoe Perry) and George (Lance Barber) thought they didn’t have much in common with Paige’s parents further interaction shows they are just as messed up, And just as when Sheldon (Iain Armitage) was starting to like page , jealousy reared its head again. Good job Dr McCoy.
This episode is an interesting one , honestly I hope to see more of the Sheldon (Iain Armitage) and Paige ( Mc kenna Grace) rivalry.
