The world is changing for everyone in Will & Grace. They must learn how to navigate through the challenges, together. That’s one thing that hasn’t changed, no matter what happens they will always have a support group to fall back on. Even if they do poke fun of the current predicament. Let the hilarity ensue, Will (Eric McCormack) & Grace’s (Debra Messing) parents have gotten married.
Although the news doesn’t come as a surprise, it has set off a chain reaction that makes Will & Grace rethink their positions in life, and throw themselves into other causes. For Will, he has decided to start teaching and dying his newly acquired beard (its good genes, don’t judge). While Grace is focused on her run for “president”. It seems as though they have lost sight of what is really going on, as Karen slips through the cracks.
“I GET BY WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM MY FRIENDS”
Cold feet are starting to affect Jack (Sean Hayes) on another level. He isn’t ready for “forever”, it isn’t something that has ever been in his wheelhouse. He has been one to seize the moment and not think about the outcome. As his relationship with Estefan ( Brian Jordan Alvarez) teeters on the edge, he needs to make a choice, can he cope in a life without love? After all, he isn’t getting any younger. None of them are.
While everyone is dealing with their own drama, Karen (Megan Mullally) has disappeared. Unable to locate her in her usual hiding places, the friends begin to worry. Stan has found out that she was having an affair, how you ask? Well, Malcolm (Alec Baldwin) himself revealed that dirty truth, for a hefty fee. Instead of hurting Karen, Stan wants something else, a divorce. She can’t run forever, it seems like it’s been a long time coming.
Each character gets caught up in their own lives, but they are able to separate themselves from the mundane and be there as a friend and support when needed. There is a lot of laughs and prodding, but it’s all in good fun. They have been through so much over the years, and they are stuck with each other. It will be interesting to see where the storylines go from here.
