Its almost the period of Halloween and the church is reviewing the Halloween fundraiser production for the previous year , the production is aimed at getting more people to repent from their ways and also raise money for the church, but things went out of hand and people were traumatized instead. To prevent further occurrence Pastor Jeff (Matt Hobby) decided that he’d let Mary be the one to head the new production.
THE HEAVENLY TASK
Mary ( Zoe Perry) , an ever ready servant swung into action and started gathering resources for the production only to be sidelined by a drama teacher Mr Lundy (Jason Alexander) that she sought consultation from. He started to make changes to the script and this angered Mary. She decided to let go because that’s what Jesus would do.
Mary’s character is well played by (Zoe Perry), her quirks and mannerisms are spot on. This episode barely focused on Sheldon but rather Mary and Georgie (Montana Jordan) Exploring their own pursuits.
Speaking of pursuits, Georgie also falls in love with a rebellious girl whom Sheldon is tutoring, after Sheldon introduced them upon request, they start to hang out, all was going well until she thought it’d be cool to see what was happening at the church Halloween fundraiser Mary organised, she ended up terrified and ran to Mary dressed in the costume of an angel.
When it was time to go trick or treating , Sheldon (Iain Armitage) dressed up as Carl Sagan and as expected no one could guess who he was, until one of their neighbors did , this made Sheldon feel so Alive that he left the candy as he already got what he needed, Vindication.
