Okay guys and gals we have another great episode for you all and boy was it great! So we had quite a lot of things that had happened in this episode but we will focus on the main things and talk about them as best as we can; lets get to this review!
So in this episode we learned that Talia Al’Ghul (Lexa Doig) is known as The Demon in the prison for level 2 and made sure that she lured Brick to get Oliver (Stephen Amell) to come to that certain level. Did it work, of course, but one thing is for certain; it was good to see Talia again. So for those that don’t remember Talia went to the dark side back in Season 5 when she sided with Adrian Chase/Prometheus and since then she has been disappeared, but we found out in this episode that she barely made it off the island alive and she’s been doing some jobs in Gotham. I think we all know what some of those jobs might’ve been in Gotham, maybe even having some sexual sessions with a certain Dark Knight during those jobs. I don’t have to go into detail with that now do I? But then Talia ended up in the prison; but I have to admit I really do like how they had Talia in the prison to be able to help Oliver get out of Level Two and get back to the main level where he will be more safe. I like how Talia actually became Oliver’s ally in the episode, I’m sure thats something that no one thought would happen but it did and I’m glad that it did.
We also got more about what Dr. Parker (Jason E. Kelley) has been doing down in Level Two and it really is terrifying. Dr. Parker has been experimenting on all these prisoners in hopes to get his program in correction. Is it illegal maybe, but it’s something that should never be done; especially when the prisoner are getting killed. I mean you would think that the warden would recognize that there’s a huge amount of prisoners either missing or deceased that shouldn’t be happening. But prison is prison and most times the warden doesn’t care what happens to the prisoners as long as it can be covered up as a accidental death. But the tests this psychiatrist was doing was literally not right. A test that can do amnesia and then forget everything of their existence; I mean you can’t just erase someone who they are they are not just wrong answers that you can erase off a piece of paper. They are human beings and I’m glad that he got what he deserved by Talia! After all he wont be seen in Season 8 if there will be another season I’m sure there will be.
Now if Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) and Laurel (Katie Cassidy) truly found a way through loop holes in Oliver’s agreement in going to prison to keep everyone else free. Then that means it wont be long until Oliver gets out of prison, and from what it looks like that might happen next episode. But it’s hard to really say, after all I thought it was only going to take five episodes for Oliver to get out of prison and I was wrong. We don’t know what will happen this season, but it’s definitely in the making of a fantastic season, probably one of the best seasons since the first three. Yes I thought season 3 was amazing, don’t judge me! We shall see how long it will take for Oliver to get out of prison this season, lets just wait and see!
