Legends of Tomorrow(S04E07) “Hell No, Dolly

Okay guys and gals we had another great episode brought to us tonight and it was a good one! What will happen to the timeline if Constantine changes it? What will happen to the team? Why did this episode have to be about dolls? Lets get to the review!

So in this episode, the Legends had to find out what changed history in the 1800’s we find out that the supernatural baddie in this episode is a Dybbuk inhabiting a doll! Okay there are a few things that I can handle but when it comes to possessed dolls its been hard for me to watch movies or other forms of media involving with a doll that can talk and attack people. This is the reason why I can’t watch the Child’s Play movies! But yes it was a possessed doll that apparently loves playing with knives, it tried killing Ray (Brandon Routh) but didn’t succeed, it tried killing Sara (Caity Lotz) but didn’t succeed. I have to say this was one messed up Dybbuk, it literally wanted to kill non-stop it’s the definition of menace! I wonder if the doll’s name was Dennis…see what I did there?

While the Legends were trying to figure out how to get a Dybbuk back to Time Bureau; Constantine (Matt Ryan) needed help from Charlie (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) in order to try to change his past of his timeline. When Charlie and Constantine thought they changed his past enough to where Constantine and Desmond (Darien Martin) don’t meet at all but that back fired and they met up the day after! When Constantine tries changing it again by other means, Zari (Tala Ashe) tries talking Constantine down but it doesn’t really work. Zari explains to Constantine that fixed times of a person’s timeline can never be fixed otherwise cataclysmic events will happen that almost no one will be able to fix. But Constantine doesn’t care, he explains the it’s because of him that he had to send Desmond possessed by Konane to hell in order to save himself but he damned the man he loved at the same time.

Meanwhile the team focuses on recapturing the Dybbuk after it leaves its vessel, and inhabits another one! But I don’t think no one was ready for the Dybbuk to possess Martin Stein’s self made puppet! My god that was terrifying seeing Martin try to kill Ray, that was just terrifying! But does this mean that it’s to be continued in how they deal with the Dybbuk? I think so! I mean who would ever think that we would see Martin’s puppet back but as a killer puppet! I know I didn’t!

You know I have to give it to Zari in this episode; she literally in her own way stood up to explain in her own way how time is sacred and that no matter how badly we all want it to be changed especially those fixed points of time it’s impossible to do so because of cataclysmic catastrophes that could happen. And I think we will be seeing those those cataclysmic catastrophes happen in the mid-season finale!

Now that Constantine has literally done a Barry Allen move and changed a fixed point in time to create a whole other timeline I guess this will be Constantine’s version of a Flashpoint which will be interesting to see! But I feel so bad for Zari, she was turned into a cat! What will happen in this timeline? I guess we will find out soon!
