Escape Plan 2: Hades
Makes you you question your life choices
Rating:
4/10
By life choices, I am referring to your younger self who just learnt a lesson. I mean they say you learn as you grow and this is a learning moment.
It makes you question why was there a need to even call this the 2nd movie of the installment. It can easily just be another movie, another name and simply nothing to do with the Escape Plan.

1. Nothing new happened
You would assume a second movie means a continuation, well it’s just the same team breaking out of another prison. The same exact thing as the first movie, it really isn’t mind blowing or exciting to see what they do in it.
2. Dave Bautista didn’t get much action
Growing up watching WWE, he was an amazing superstar, the Animal with his Batista bombs. Imagine a movie where he gets the least action. A couple of fights, not even a scratch or effort and that’s all he had to do.
3. Feels like another Expandables movie
Big names, no real plot, no real story. This movie does nothing but do what happened in the 1st movie. Its just there for the hype of the cast but again it’s just not working.

4. Jackie Chan, Bruce Lee or Jet Li – this one is not going to be on your favourite list.
You may be a fan of one or both of them. This movie went on with the Chinese guy being the fighter and hero of the movie in a typical martial art movie style. However, the actor wasn’t living up to the job of making his character shine.
5. Open ending for more
The ending left them allowing another movie to be made with Stallone almost saying the very famous Taken’s line:
I don’t know who you are, but I will find you and I will kill you.
Just almost. I would say that was a very confident way to end seeing how horrible the movie was. All in all, don’t waste your time on it.
