Alright guys and gals, we had another great episode brought to us tonight!
We saw Barry and Iris go into Nora’s memories, and we saw Nora go into Grace’s memories. We saw Cisco and Ralph have a night out and are we seeing Cisco enter a new relationship? Let’s get to the review!
Let’s go dive into some memories
So in this episode, we had the memory machine brought to our heroes. Sherloque (Tom Cavanagh) elects Barry/The Flash (Grant Gustin) and Nora (Jessica Parker Kennedy) to be the ones to go into Grace’s (Islie Hirvonen) memories to help wake her up. But there’s a little problem.
Nora is afraid for Barry to see Nora’s memories and possibly revealing her partnership with the Reverse Flash. Nora thinks if she is able to go into Grace’s memories by herself, then no one has to see Nora’s memories. Things don’t go as planned. Nora gets trapped in Grace’s memories with Grace’s conscience, and Barry and Iris (Candice Patton) have to go in to try to help Nora get out. Instead, they get stuck in Nora’s memories.
As Barry and Iris search for a way to get to Nora, they get a glance at the Flash Museum. Barry ends up falling in love with everything that he sees, especially the Flash bobbleheads and flash phones. I mean those Flash phones were pretty shway. Especially the ring tone on those Flash phones being the series introduction song, which is just awesome.
We also saw in the Flash museum in Nora’s memories that the villains get their own hall known as “The Hall of Villains”. It reveals all of Barry’s top villains including Cicada (Chris Klein). We hear from Nora’s memory that Cicada returns in 2024 after Barry disappears. He goes on another killing spree killing 152 people, and that number continues to climb. Which makes Barry confused about not being able to catch Cicada. Will this happen, or will Barry and Nora change that part of history? It’s hard to know; the only way to know is to find out.
Grace hears all
Meanwhile, Nora goes down memory lane with Grace but things don’t exactly go well there either. Nora ends up finding out that Grace was able to hear everything that her Uncle has been saying this whole time. She finds out the truth about Nora which makes her an enemy of Grace and her uncle. Here’s the interesting thing though; in the world, we see at one point that Grace is grown up wearing her uncles mask and hood to become Cicada.
This makes us wonder: they say in The Flash Museum scene that Cicada returns in 2024. Is it possible that the Cicada who returns is not Orlin/Cicada but actually ends up being Grace as the new Cicada? It really seems like the route they are going, that it might end up being that way. What will drive Grace to become Cicada? We know Orlin’s reason is to get rid of all the meta-humans. But what would Grace’s motive be?
We also saw a false memory of Nora where she remembers her mother Iris being heartless. It turns out that Nora remembers wrong. The real memory never had Iris as heartless. She was actually a really good mother to her daughter. They had a touching moment when Nora accidentally drops her Flash toy. It’s definitely a relief to know that Iris won’t be the heartless person that we heard Nora describe her as in the future. It could’ve been because of Nora messing with the timeline, but I guess we will find out for sure when things do catch up to that point.
What about cisco?
Is Cisco (Carlos Valdes) getting a new girlfriend this season? it seems like it could be possible but will it be too soon for our poor Cisco? I guess we will find out eventually, but it seemed like Kamilla (Victoria Park) and Cisco were having quite a good time together in that bar. I mean, Cisco deserves to be happy. The poor guy has been having to watch Barry and Iris be happy with their relationship and now marriage and it seems like our poor hilarious guy needs some loving in his life.
