Legends of Tomorrow (S04E10) “The Getaway”

Alright guys and gals we had another great episode brought to us tonight and it was a really good one! So we had possibly a character death in this episode, we had Mona questioning herself with the team, are we possibly getting a Nate and Zari romance about to happen, and much more to talk about so lets get to this review!

Okay so in this episode we had we saw that Hank (Thomas F. Wilson) has commandeered the Waiverider and he is in hot pursuit to catch and throw the Legends in jail, but will he? Or will someone convince him to not take the Legends in for jail time? Well we do see that the Legends travel to 1973 where they kidnap President Nixon (Paul Ganus) due to him telling too much of the truth for his own good. Turns out it was a bug from an ancient goddess who devours lies but loves it when people throw out the truth until there is no more. Kinda sounds like a goddess that they did back in the earlier years of Supernatural but hey this whole season is all about the supernatural and paranormal and creepy things in the dark so I guess it all fits together pretty well. Given that Hank was indeed just playing along with Nate (Nick Zano) when he was lying to his father about what was going on but then again I don’t think Nate has ever told his dad about him being able to steel up if you know what I mean. I wonder if he ever will given what happened in this episode but we will get to that in a little bit.

First off, we saw in the last episode Mona (Ramona Young) beast out and kill one of the evil agents, and in this episode she was trying to explain to Sara (Caity Lotz) about what really happened but seemed like no one wanted to hear it. Even Mick/Heatwave (Dominic Purcell) felt sorry for Mona because he knew the truth and he felt like it was Mona’s responsibility to tell someone about what happened but was also trying to help her get over the grief of the wrong she did. At least Mick was trying to help though but no one wanted to listen to poor Mona so she had to figure everything out on her own. But after a little beast mode, I think thats what I’m gonna call her wolf/creature side from now on beast mode. But at least now after a little bit of a confrontation that Mona now can turn to Sara and have someone who will listen so thats nice.

During the whole hot pursuit though we did see that Zari (Tala Ashe) definitely knows how to do radio dj kind of a voice for a sexy and relaxing radio night show. I mean did you hear that version of her voice that was awesome, I wonder if Tala Ashe ever was a radio host during her earlier jobs or something like that? I mean she did the voice for a radio host so well in this episode it makes you wonder. I did like how she almost stayed in that voice even when Gary (Adam Tsekman) called in order to help her out with getting info to hack Hank’s records. But still that voice was awesome and I really enjoyed Radio Zari for the episode.

We did see Constantine (Matt Ryan) use  a lot of his magic for this episode which I have to say I’ve really missed. I know that he’s used it in a lot of the episodes but there have been a few episodes that he hasn’t used his magic to little or full extents and I liked this episode it actually brought Constantine back to spell binding and spell casting which is the best Constantine in my opinion.

So we also saw that Nora Darhk (Courtney Ford) has some kind of connection to Desmond (Christian Keyes) but why would Nora have a strong connection to Demonic possessed Desmond? I mean we know that she had a connection and possession with Mallus but why would the demon that is possessing Desmond have a connection with her? It doesn’t really make sense unless if this the demon has some kind of relation to Mallus and that is why they are connected but I guess we will find out more about that soon. I mean you have to admit it really is weird and plus you can tell that Nora is really afraid of this demon, she even told Gary to no longer investigate anything about Hank or the demon possessing Desmond. So it makes us wonder in the season finale will Nora and Desmond have some kind of showdown with Constantine right in the middle? Heck in this show I’ve come to the conclusion that anything is possible.

We also saw a couple of hints that the writers of the show might be giving Nate a new girlfriend in the ways of Zari, I mean I never thought I would ever see Zari fall for Nate because I always saw there being some kind of love triangle love with Ray (Brandon Routh), Nora, and Zari but I guess we wont really see that if the writers end up making a Nate and Zari romance. How would we even ship that? Would it be Nari? Zatari? Natri? Zate? I don’t know let me know your thoughts about it in comments or anything readers, let me know how you would ship Nate and Zari.

And finally the possible character death is Hank Heywood, Desmond took the soul of Hank for possible energy or something but apparently Hank is dead or at least that’s what they want us to think and they want Nate to think that Nora did it when we already know who did it. But will Hank stay dead or will Constantine find a way to somehow put Hank’s soul back into his body before his body gets thrown into the ground? I guess we will have to wait and find out in next weeks episode.
