Alright guys and gals we had a great episode that left us with a bang, no seriously left us with a bang! Why did Roy come back? What happened that forced Team Arrow as suspects? We are going to discuss a whole lot y’all and more so lets get to this review!
So in this episode we had Team Arrow trying to stop the Ninth Circle from acquiring a part that would make the device active to release the dangerous pathogen onto the city. But while trying to stop the crime of stealing the part, a crime happened within the walls of Team Arrow, but who committed the crime and why? Well my readers that is what this whole episode was dedicated to, by finding out who did the crime and why. Even though all members except for Diana/Black Canary (Juliana Harkavy) all confessed to the police about what happened with their own versions of the story but left the real version of the story out about what really happened. It was an interesting change of style for the episodes to be filmed and I really loved the style that this was filmed as because it was an interesting by making it a whole good cop, bad cop interrogation episode.
But we finally did get the whole story after having Oliver (Stephen Amell), Diggle (David Ramsey), Rene (Rick Gonzalez), Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards), and Roy (Colton Haynes) stories out, the real whole story was that Roy committed the crime, which made me think that Roy had either one, accidentally fell into one of the Lazarus Pits or two died and was forced to come back to life by the Lazarus Pit. And as it turned out that according to Roy’s story that while they were destroying the last of the Lazarus Pits there was a group that was trying to protect them and was forced to kill them while Roy was protecting Nyssa and Thea, he was shot by an arrow which I do have to agree that is kind of ironic. Thea and Nyssa then brought Roy back to life by the Lazarus Pit but right afterwards used the lotus flower to bring his soul back to his body and stop the blood lust and destroyed that Lazarus Pit. But here’s a theory of mine is that even though they used the lotus flower on Roy, I feel like what happened is that somewhere deep inside of Roy there is still a small part of the Mirakuru in him that forced that blood lust to return from the effects of the Lazarus Pit. Now that this has happened and the Team has to keep this silent forever, will they? I feel like they will but it also explains how and why Roy had to leave Star City forever and went to Lian Yu in the future scenes.
But it didn’t matter because now the police is gonna be after Roy thanks to Emiko (Sea Shimooka) which I find it really interesting that she’s calling herself the boss of the Ninth Circle when she really is only a pawn to higher ups of the organization I’m betting. But Emiko also finally revealed to Oliver that it was her who corresponded to killing their father on that Gambit all those years ago. But before Emiko left the scene she blew up the building on Team Arrow in hoping that it would kill them but we all know that they can’t die in this episode nor the next two because Oliver still have another season to go yet.
