Hey guys and gals, we had a great episode brought to us tonight, yeah I had some issues with the episode but putting those aside I thought it was good. We get a new set of rogues brought to us in tonight’s episode, will Nora have ramifications using the dark speed force? Will Barry and Nora be able to really patch things up? We have a lot to talk about so lets get to this review!
In this episode we saw Nora/XS (Jessica Parker Kennedy) trying to go into the route of becoming a super villain or at least that’s what they want you to think. She even goes through so much work by recruiting Joss/Weather Witch (Reina Hardesty), Rag Doll (Troy James), and Brie/Bee/Bug Eyed Bandit (Emily Kinney) to help pull off a heist to get a lot of money. Even though a lot of people didn’t believe Nora went full villain within one episode or last episode going into this one but for me, I don’t know I just feel like she did over step, that she was going to become un-redeemable in the eyes of Team Flash and was going to even take the place of Thawne as being the Reverse Flash but I guess I must’ve been wrong. However just because I was wrong about Nora not being redeemable, doesn’t mean I can’t be wrong about this, that Nora might have problems with her speed for the rest of her life. I mean she’s used the Negative or Dark Speed Force for a long time to stay undetected this whole episode and to travel back in time during the last episode, I mean there’s going to be consequences over her using it for that long period of time. I’m thinking its going to eventually lead her to becoming a villain but it’s hard to say at the same time. But I guess we will have to wait and see!
Just as I knew though, the Young Rouges betrayed Nora and went on to try to do the job their selves, which was the moment that Nora went back to the side of the light with her father Barry/The Flash (Grant Gustin). I mean I would’ve at least made Nora be bad for at least one more episode but no instead they went with the fast route of being the bad girl and returning to be the hero. But I still feel like there will be consequences to Nora doing this, I mean there was consequences with Thawne, he had to continue using the Negative/Dark Force in order to keep his speed so wont the same results eventually apply to Nora? I guess it’s something that will be explained either this season or next season, all I know is that there’s only two episodes left of this season.
Meanwhile, the team was also trying to understand what Cicada II (Sarah Carter) planning to unleash for her final plan but it was hard to understand through the tech that she was stealing. It wasn’t until the ending of the episode when she ended up stealing the cure that it was revealed that she is planning to weaponize the cure to become a virus for all meta humans. Which is why Nora was trying hard to steal a device that would destroy Cicada’s dagger and hopefully make Cicada less powerful. However if Cicada unleashes the virus wont it kill Grace (Islie Hirvonen) I mean she’s now a meta and if the virus is going to kill all metas then that means that young Grace and Adult Grace/Cicada II are committing suicide practically unless if there’s some kind of plan to keep Grace safe but I guess we will see soon enough.
What are your thoughts, do you think Nora will have consequences that she’s going to have to pay with the Negative/Dark Speed Force? Or Do you think she will be okay? I’m curious to see what my readers might have to say about the situation.
