The ladies may have returned from New Orleans but the party continued on with Monique throwing a “Rainbow Party”. For those of you who don’t know what that is, it’s when you celebrate getting pregnant after suffering a miscarriage. Some may find it uncommon at first, but the way Monique expressed herself with her speech was educational, and elegant. Add a box of doves being released, and a shady mother in law moment, and we have a real housewives party. More importantly though, Monique’s speech seemed to help the others attending, specifically Ashley.
Ashley and Michael suffered a miscarriage months earlier, and it affected their relationship to the point they almost broke up. Ashley spoke about when they first heard the news they both seemed hesitant about their future, but that this Rainbow party reminded them of that difficult time and to not give up. Like Monique’s message for the party “Life goes on”. It was also the first time we saw Michael emotional about the subject, and its nice to see them both get through this time.
The Candiace and Ashley drama I live for. These ladies are uber competitive, open, and nosy. Perfect housewives. Candiace casually brings up Ashleys speech at the Rainbow Party, and politely reminds everyone that her husband allegedly wanted to give fellatio to Juan and didn’t know where her mind was at. I get it, I do. If there were allegations of a husband saying out loud that he wanted to blow another husband, that should raise questions about if you want to have a child with them. That being said if you don’t mind your husband looking the other way, great.
