NOS4A2(S01E07) “Scissors for the Drifter”

Alright boys and girls of all ages we had another great adventure brought to us tonight with smiles, worries and even cries of no not him but we will get to that in a little bit! Let’s get to this review!

So I had a feeling that this episode would try somehow to get Maggie (Jahkara Smith) back into the Wraith case by taking someone or even her scrabble bag finding its way back to her by growing legs and running back to her and be like “we ain’t done” or something like that but I still have high hopes that Maggie will be thrown back into the game, after all Charlie Manx (Zachary Quinto) has seen her, has hit her with his car, I mean she’s on his radar as a major threat. I’m sure a lot of people are thinking this too but it’s sad what happened to Sheriff Joe Bly (Chris McKinney) which it’s sad cause all he’s ever wanted to do is help Maggie be the best woman he knows she can be and he had to pay that price in blood in tonight’s episode.

Our hero Vic McQueen (Ashleigh Cummings) had her fair share of bad things happen in tonight’s episode because one her mom Linda (Virginia Kull) sold her bike. She tried her best to cross her endscape without the knife and it didn’t work, but at least one thing Jolene told our hero stuck with her. When she lost one knife another found her, she thought she could do some father and daughter bonding time by going to the bike sell that happens every year which is the place she found the first dirt bike that would become her knife. Vic thought she could do it again finding one at that annual event to find a new knife but it didn’t work because deep down Vic is still attached to her old red dirt bike. Which is something that doesn’t go away easily. Vic chose to try to accept her father’s apology for not stopping Linda when she sold the bike but deep down Vic didn’t accept because she remembers all the pain and hurt she had to see her father give her mother and it wasn’t right. No child should witness things like that but it happens.

Now ladies and gentlemen we were introduced to a new character in the land of Christmas Land. Millie Minx (Mattea Conforti) yes, Charlie’s daughter which if you’ve read the prologue comic book it’s that Millie that was revealed. Millie which I wasn’t sure if she would make an appearance in the series but she did and I’m fully excited for it! Even though this was just an intro I am looking forward to seeing more of her if this series is renewed for a season 2 because there’s so much story that they can still do with Millie and I’m excited to see who else they might bring to air time of the kids as well! It’s exciting that they had a name from the past be revealed this early on but I’m so excited!
