Van Helsing(S04E04) “Broken Promises”

Alright ladies and gentleman we’ve got another awesome episode brought to us tonight and it was really awesome! So many things happened tonight and we are going to discuss about a lot of them, so let’s get to this review!

So it was revealed in this episode that Violet (Keeya King) has a sister who she believes is dead, but we know the truth, her sister Jack (Nicole Munoz) is alive and is in search for her sister. But when we first met Jack she never spoke of a sister only her parents that she got separated from during the beginning of the rising. Which has to mean that either Jack doesn’t remember everything about her past or something else happened that will be revealed all in time. I guess we will find out soon.

We finally got to see Axel (Jonathan Scarfe) and Vanessa (Kelly Overton) hashed out after what had happened to Scarlett. And I figured it would be a good fight but I’m glad they both hashed everything out and are able to be square and go their separate ways with out vengeance being in one of their hearts. But I wonder where will Axel go now? Will he go back to the slums town and get pulled into the Black Tech organization? I guess we’ll have to wait and find out.

And I can’t help but to see that the Night Sisters mother looks a lot like Dracula (Tricia Helfer) which makes me wonder, is Makayla/Mother the sister of Dracula and is wanting to find her to release her from her long sleep? Since this Makayla was able to see through Sam (Christopher Heyerdahl) very easily, its easy to see that she is an ancient vampire but I have a feeling that Makayla and Sam are not going to get along any time soon.

And I’m not surprised that Hansen (Neal McDonough) is working for Oracle (Jesse Stanley) I guess it’s because Hansen always looked like the betrayal type and is also too eager to kill people who know too much of the truth about Violet. But it makes me wonder the way how he was looking at the drawing that Violet drew of the Van Helsing garden, is this the location that he’s been after all along? Could Dracula/The Dark One be trapped inside of the garden? After all since Hansen is working for the vampire Oracle it’s obvious that he’s going to have to tell them news about where the Dark One is located and if he doesn’t know the location then Hansen might not be useful for much longer. But we shall see.

I really loved that Julius (Aleks Paunovic) and Violet sparing sessions. They were all awesome moments and Julius makes a great teacher. I loved that Julius was even honest with Violet and told her about Scarlett and Vanessa. But now that he’s having to be on the run, I wonder if he’ll come back for Violet after rescuing Doc/Sarah (Rukiya Bernard) and all three of them run away together to eventually meet up with Vanessa and Jack.

All what we do know is the darkness of the Dark One is coming sooner than later. Until next time my readers!
