Supergirl(S05E03) “Blurred Lines”

Alright ladies and gentleman we have another great episode brought to us tonight and it was really good! So let’s get to this review!

So in tonight’s episode we saw the Kara/Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) and DEO investigate a murder that was quite sticky and spidery. The team was able to find out that the villain was actually just a new host named Caroline O’ Connor that creates tattoos to come to life to kill people. Mainly spider tattoos, which is the perfect time because Halloween is coming up and this episode did have a creepy factor with those spider tattoos. I don’t remember if there was a comic character that was a woman with tattoo powers, I remember a man named Tattoo Man who made tattoos come to life.

But it makes us wonder who is William Day (Staz Nair) really working for. I’m thinking he might even be working for Leviathan and they were trying to find out information on what that dead doctor had known about certain projects. But now that the connection is dead what will happen to William? Will they find more ways to have him hired? After all to have William come on the series just to be killed off would not be worth it. They would have to focus on the big picture with him.

However, I have a feeling I know who killed Caroline. I’m thinking it’s going to be Andrea Rojas (Julie Gonzalo) who in the comics I believe was known as the living shadow. And because there was literally a living shadow figure that killed Caroline then it makes sense that it would be Andrea or at least a experiment of hers. But I guess they are wanting to wait to reveal who the living shadow will be in this series just a little while longer.

And we found out who erased J’on’s (David Harewood) mind about his brother Melefic (Phil LaMarr) but it wasn’t just J’on’s mind but the mind of his father too. If anyone ever found out about this betrayal the team wouldn’t be able to forgive J’on for what he did in his past but some might forgive him like Alex (Chyler Leigh) and Kara maybe.

Kara still hasn’t figured it out yet that she is just being used by Lena (Kate McGrath) to get what she wants but I’m sure everything will come clear soon enough but when it does who will be blamed for her fall, Kara? Or Supergirl? In the latest being used is getting Lex’s journals which Lena felt they would help but instead it just opened more mysteries about what Lex meant.

And Kelly (Azie Tesfai) is having a be sent away after her latest encounter with Malefic forced her to see through his cloaking and she literally almost died by mind control. Poor Kelly, I wanted her to stay but it’s also for her safety, let’s hope that she waits for Alex, like how Alex will wait for Kelly and will be missing her every second.
