Alright guys and gals we had another great episode and it was really great! We had murder, we had the verdict to Lou’s case, and we had so much happen that will lead into more things to happen with the last three episodes of the season. So let’s get to this review!
So in this episode we saw Peter (Rarmian Newton) finding out how much that one page was worth and he was given an offer by the bookstore owner Andrew (Patch Darragh) who wanted to take all the manuscripts off of Peter’s hands. In a way Andrew was really and I mean really trying to help Peter to get out of the situation he is in right now with Morris (Gabriel Ebert).
But I don’t think we will be seeing much of Andrew anymore since Alma (Kate Mulgrew) killed Andrew very gruesome way. And I think with that pick axe Alma did more than just two strokes I mean half his face was missing that takes more than just two strokes. That would have to be either three or more strikes. But it looks like Andrew won’t be able to hear Peter’s decision on his answer.
Now let’s get to the part of the episode that was very anxious to watch or was it just me? So with our lovable Lou (Breeda Wool) who was awaiting for what the verdict would be. When we heard from the jury that the first degree murder charge was not guilty, I’m going to admit I jumped out of my seat arms in the air and accidentally threw my tv controller out of my hand, but when we found out there was more than one charge my heart sank for Lou. Because she was guilty in second degree murder which is worse than first degree. See in second degree murder you can go to prison for twenty years or more a maximum of thirty five years and that’s what everyone feared what would happen is she would get the maximum which would be horrible. I mean Lou is a good person who made a mistake against the law. She doesn’t deserve such sentence like that but if it wasn’t for Hodges (Brendan Gleeson) to remind The Judge (Glynn Turman) about what it means to defend those who deserve to be defended and it was because of that Lou is guilty by that charge but she is free to go. However, if she screws up again she will be put into prison for fifteen years, so that just means Lou can’t go looking for trouble nor kill anyone she just has to be a normal law abiding citizen. I’m sure she will do that but time will tell. At least though she knows that she will always have Holly (Justine Lupe) and Hodges on her side as friends. And I think that’s what Lou is going to need in the coming days friends.
So it’s easy to see that Alma and Morris are planning to fish out Peter with the manuscripts soon but what will happen, we’ll have to keep watching to find out!
