Alright guys and gals we have another great episode brought to us tonight and we have a lot to talk about that happened in this episode so let’s get to this review!
So in this episode we saw Barry/The Flash (Grant Gustin) and Iris (Candice Patton) both decide together to tell the team about the crisis but they gave the team the abridged version of what’s going to go down instead of going into detail about everything. Which brought the team together to try to figure out a way how to stop Barry from dying. Which we all know there’s probably no way out of it.
But besides this news brought to the team they had visitors one from another earth and a friend of Caitlin’s (Danielle Panabaker) Dr. Russo (Sendhil Ramamurthy) who has a bit of a situation on his hands having to deal with a monstrosity that he created. Russo asked for Team Flash help to get rid of the problem and the team agrees. But things don’t go eye to eye with Russo and Barry, Barry doesn’t truly trust Russo and because of that Russo doesn’t fully give Barry his respect.
During this time Team Flash meets a new Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh) but this one like the others they’ve met are different. This one that calls himself Nash Wells is looking for something called Infinitium which to me sounds ridiculous. To come to an earth of the multiverse just to find some kind of ridiculous name element sounds like a fake mission. It’s because the team didn’t know what he was doing Iris tazered Nash. So question is can we really believe that this Harrison Wells is looking for only an element? I have a feeling that there’s more to the story to why he came to Earth-1 than he’s letting on. After all every other Wells that has come to Earth-1 to be a part of Team Flash has always had a hidden agenda but slowly came forward to the team about what it was. But this Wells, he is different and I’m curious to see what else we see with him in this season. Maybe eventually he will come to love and cherish Team Flash like the other ones. But we shall see!
So we finally met Ralph’s(Hartley Sawyer) mom in this episode and she was a delight to see on the episode. And I’m happy that Ralph and his mom got some quality time and to be able to hear about some of Ralph’s past was a plus especially with something we’ve all seen with Ralph already and that is getting too close to anyone. I’ve always seen him as a guy who can’t really tell people about his past unless if the story is able to help the a certain problem. But it was because it was his mom we were able to find out a bit of that problem which was really helpful in my opinion.
In the end Barry and Iris did come clean to the team about what Barry saw when the crisis does hit and in all the billions of futures he saw the only one he saw that saves everyone including his friends and family is the one when he dies.
