Alright guys and gals we had another great episode brought to us tonight! And with Halloween coming up in a couple days it definitely beats the cake by making it a Halloween themed episode! So let’s get to this review!
So we’ve seen that everyone on Team Flash is not taking the news well of what The Monitor (LaMonica Garrett) had said that Barry/The Flash (Grant Gustin) must die during Crisis on Infinite Earths. But especially Cisco (Carlos Valdes) he cant accept the fact that his best friend is gonna die. For this whole episode we saw Cisco hoping to go to extreme lengths to find a way to save Barry.
We’ve seen Ralph (Hartley Sawyer) even take it hard about Barry’s death. Choosing to recluse himself again, but I can also see why Ralph would be this way. Way back when Barry was a rookie in the police department it was Ralph who trained Barry; and when Ralph got powers the tables turned and Barry trained Ralph to use his powers. And it’s because of all this that made Ralph respect and love Barry as a brother. And for him to visualize Barry gone forever it devastates him to not want to do anything. But after a little bit of pushing from Iris (Candice Patton), Joe (Jesse L. Martin), and even Barry’s attempt to try to save Rosso/Bloodwork (Sendhil Ramamurthy) life and failed to do monstrous acts. It forced Ralph to think twice about finding Sue Dearbon which we all know Ralph will eventually marry her.
Rosso was the real one who helped make this episode a Halloween themed episode. Given that his little experiment on himself can now turn people into zombified blood banks. I mean if only that cure would’ve been discovered sooner than later to help Rosso maybe things would’ve been different but now he’s become this monster that needs the fear out of people in order to get the right amount of blood from the victims. Is it too late to save Rosso, yes but now Team Flash needs to take care of the blood sucking man. I guess Bloodwork could be like a vampire of some kind.
We also saw Joe break down thinking the worst about what will happen if Barry dies during the Crisis. And I knew it was going to come to the surface eventually. Because Barry owes everything to Joe, the way how he became a forensic csi for the police department, how he taught Barry about being the greatest person he can always be even if it’s hard. All these lessons, training it is all because of Joe and Barry wants Joe and everyone else to live. But having to hear that speech that Barry gave to Joe was what really broke him down. Not only would Joe be losing a friend, son then turned son in law but a hero who he’s always come to care about.
And before I forget I wish you all a early Happy Halloween and wish for all of you to be safe out there on that day!
