Alright guys and gals we had a fantastic episode brought to us tonight! There were so many things that happened we won’t get to all but I will get to as much as I can! On that note let’s get to this review!
So we are almost done with this season, it’s been literally one hell of a ride, but we have one episode left of the season! When it gets close to season finales anything can happen, everything gets thrown on the table and it literally becomes this whole guessing game of what is going to happen next. I was on the edge of my seat with this episode because like I said anything can happen and there’s no telling what the show runners have in store for some of these characters because it’s a series that keeps you guessing.
We had in this episode Morris (Gabriel Ebert) finally getting his hands on one of the manuscripts, and when he got it from Peter (Rarmian Newton) who changed the terms of the plan for handling when and where he will get the rest of the manuscripts. All this was so Peter can make sure he gets his mom Marjorie (Claire Bronson) back. When Morris got that first manuscript it was like his face lit up like a kid on Christmas morning.
Now I understand why Peter wouldn’t trust Hodges (Brendan Gleeson) it’s truly understandable because in Peter’s eyes, Hodges is just like all of those other cops, the ones who don’t give a crap about the people but only care about getting the case solved. Even though I’m sure that’s true for cops but Hodges is not a cop, he’s a private detective who not only cares about the cases he works on but also the people that are involved. He’s the best character and person to have on your side.
On a more serious note, Holly (Justine Lupe) has been inherited her aunts Mercedes. The same Mercedes that Brady had drove into all those people and injured many. But I sympathize with Holly because she doesn’t see it as a murder weapon, but as the most prized possession of her aunt Olivia. And because of that, Holly wants to restore her aunts car’s glory in a way. She wants people to see it as only a car and not as the thing that caused chaos and destruction. Will it take time for that to happen? Yes but it’s okay because Holly is up for the challenge.
Now, I figured Morris would eventually find out about Danielle’s death and who made her disappear. But I didn’t think it would’ve taken all the way up to now, but I’m glad that he finally found out and I was glad that he found out and did the greatest kill to Alma (Kate Mulgrew). But he also suffered a big blow to his head with that crowbar. It makes me wonder if he might not make it throughout the whole episode next week. I guess we will find out soon enough!
