Alright guys and gals we had another great episode brought to us tonight! It was quite a sad note on this episode but there were some good things too, so let’s get to this review!
So in this episode Cisco (Carlos Valdes) was found sleep walking almost like he was in a trance, it wasn’t like a normal sleep walk. But after the little sleep walk trip Cisco gets a visit from Breacher (Danny Trejo) blaming Cisco for killing Gypsy (Jessica Camacho). Yes you heard it right people, they killed off Gypsy, I guess they couldn’t get the actress Jessica Camacho to return for the role anymore so they just chose to do what they always do to characters when the actors don’t want to return; they kill them off.
But Cisco claimed that he never once and never would hurt Gypsy. But Breacher kept claiming he did it, it didn’t matter what Cisco said, Breacher was set in his ways. It took a lot of convincing and a lot of figuring out to find out the real culprit of who killed Gypsy. Turns out it was Cisco’s doppelgänger on Earth-19 named Echo. Echo tried his best to make Cisco the culprit but it didn’t work in the end. Breacher arrested Echo to have him trialed for the crimes. And Breacher goes back to having even more respect for Cisco.
Meanwhile, Nash (Tom Cavanagh) and Joe (Jesse L. Martin) were on the trail of what Nash has been looking for ever since he came to that Earth. He never revealed what or who he was looking for in the tunnels but while the two of them were trapped down in the tunnels Joe revealed about what Barry (Grant Gustin) had said about the crisis.
Now Harrison “Nash” Wells has been nothing but secretive the entire time he’s been on Earth-1, why would he all of a sudden have a change of heart to help save Barry/The Flash? There has to be some kind of ulterior motive behind him wanting to save the Flash or at least try to. I honestly haven’t trusted this Wells ever since he showed up because there’s just too much secrecy behind him. It reminds me of the Eobard/Harrison Wells version that we used to have back in season one. And it’s because of that, that makes me not trust this one. I just feel like he’s hiding his true goal by trying to cover it with either a half truth or the whole truth.
But given that now Cisco can grieve over the loss of Gypsy, he does make a very fair point. Before he had met Gypsy he was this lonely guy who was just a guy in the chair kind of character. After he met Gypsy and started dating her, he did mature a bit and even though he was still his geeky self; he did understand what it meant to organize what comes first in a relationship. And because of that he can show that to Kamilla (Victoria Park).
