Alright ladies and gentleman we had a great episode brought to us tonight! Was it freaky and devilishly mysterious, yes but that’s what makes for a good episode! So let’s get to this review.
So in this episode we had Violet (Keeya King), Axel (Jonathan Scarfe), and Julius (Aleks Paunovic) went on their way to find and retrieve the three pages from Fort Collins. While Jack (Nicole Munoz) and Ivory (Jennifer Cheon Garcia) went to find Hansen/Willem (Neal McDonough/Dakota Daulby).
The episode itself was was filled with two adventures and a whole lot of fun and maybe a little bit of blood, okay a lot of blood shed and we loved it. We also had lots of action which is also another big plus because it’s amazing to always have some fight sequences in the episodes.
I have to admit, I was really worried that this could be it for Ivory and that they were only teasing a redemption arc. But I’m glad that wasn’t the case, Ivory lived and the redemption arc of the sisterhood now becomes a storyline for this season and for the future seasons. Yes the whole sisterhood is no longer vampires and have devoted themselves to serve the Van Helsing family. Just think what Vanessa (Kelly Overton) is going to think when they get her back from the dark realm. I mean first Ivory and now Mira (Briana Skye) and the rest of the sisterhood it’s gonna be a Van Helsing army for next season.
With there only being two episodes left I’m not going to lie, it’s going to be bat shit crazy. We are going to have so much happening I think our heads might start spinning. But that’s the beauty of this series, when it gets closer and closer to the end of the season it gives us a million moments that we will never forget. And that’s why I’m always going to back up this series, it’s phenomenal.
And I have to admit with the direction that it feels like it’s going, the series literally has million more stories to tell before it ends permanently. After all we are only being introduced to Dracula/The Dark One (Tricia Helfer) in this season. They can’t just kill her off after just introducing her because once Dracula finds out that only the West Coast was affected by the vampire apocalypse, she is going to go to those midwestern states and east coast and give them a reason to not be living their normal lives anymore. I mean that’s what they should do, that would give Dracula at least two whole seasons to show off her true power to the world and really bring on the vampire apocalypse to the entire planet.
And then the only ones fighting against Dracula would be the Van Helsing’s and the people they turned back from being a vampire. I mean that would make some good future seasons, am I right?
Now question for my readers, can we really trust Colonel Nicholson (Aaron Douglas) or will he betray Team Van Helsing to the president or to Dracula? Honestly I don’t know what to think about him but what are your thoughts, comment in the comments and let me know your thoughts.
