Supergirl(S05E10) “The Bottle Episode”

Alright guys and gals we had another great episode brought to us tonight! The episode after crisis is here and just when new things appear old things still linger. So how about we get to this review!

So in this episode we see exactly how much things changed for Kara/Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) after the old multiverse was combined as one whole earth known as Earth Prime. Because of this Supergirl, Flash, Batwoman, Black Lightning, and rest of Team Arrow now live on the same earth in their own cities. Anyway, we just had to see how different things really were gonna be for our woman of steel.

Turns out things are very different, Lex Luthor (Jon Cryer) is trying to be nice and peaceful? Am I the only one who sees this as wrong? I see that Lex is trying out a new leaf like how he did many times in the comics and failed every time and it makes me wonder if the exact same thing will happen here. I mean if they are not going to have Lex evil then at least have Lena (Katie McGrath) become fully evil but I’m sure they won’t do that either. They may tease it like how they have been this whole season but I don’t think they will have her go completely evil. But at least the Luthor’s can all try to work together as one big messed up family.

Another weird thing that was revealed was apparently people from the old multiverse were transported to this new earth especially Brainiac 5’s (Jesse Rath and Meaghan Rath) just seeing Jesse Rath play so many different versions of his character was hilarious. Even though it was just an act I loved Brainiac 5 who looked like he saw some serious battles to be like “I’ve seen some stuff man, you don’t know what I’ve been through man” hilarious.

But just as the title of the episode says this definitely was a bottle episode. Because it was all about keeping a bottle from being opened and destroy the Prime Earth. But we also had some interesting stories from Brainiac 5, and it explained his three dots on his forehead. Luckily everything worked out and Brainy was able to become his new improved self. Which they turned him green like his new 52 comic version of the character. And he has now three new dots that connect him to the big brain.

Now do you think Director Brainiac 5(Meaghan Rath) was right? Should Brainy have broken up with Nia/Dreamer (Nicole Maines) or should he have not heeded the warning and continue to doubt Lex? Feel free to give your own opinion in the comments. All I can say though is we will miss Nia and Brainy’s lovey dovey moments on the show it was awesome, lovely and sometimes funny.

But now Lex has a job for Brainy to track down Winn? Will this be a Winn from the old multiverse? Or will it be Winn from the future?
