Alright, ladies and gentlemen, we had a great episode brought to us! It has everything a Valentines themed episode should have; love, fights, and love with chocolate and an impostor all will be talked about. So let’s get to this review!
Alright so because Valentine’s Day is on a Friday this year they chose to give us a valentine themed episode. What better way to give us an episode like this, by adding some good ole’ fashioned drama. Most of the drama was with Amunet Black (Katee Sackhoff) and Goldface (Damion Poitier).
Yes readers, Amunet is back in this episode and she loves making entrances and stealing things. The last time we saw Amunet was way before Crisis so it’s good to see that she’s still around. Apparently, with the changed Earth we also find that Amunet and Goldface were in a relationship. Yeah, that’s definitely different but I guess that’s a point of a new multiverse; everything is supposed to be different. But even though the two villains hate each other they showed in this episode they still love each other so maybe they will get back together.
Meanwhile, I’m sure everyone saw there was something off about Iris (Candice Patton) especially since the last we saw of our reporter she was being dragged through the mirror by Eva McCulloch aka Second Mirror Master. It looks like this version of Mirror Master is going to be a lot more cunning and mischievous; not only can she travel through mirrors but she can also change her form to appear as the person that she drags through the mirror. Having the memories of the person Eva is trying to imposter is dangerous, especially for Barry/The Flash (Grant Gustin). But how long will it take for Barry to realize Iris is stuck in the mirror?
I mean Barry had his doubts but as long as Barry doesn’t know then poor Iris is going to be stuck in that mirror and Imposter Iris will be roaming free to become a villain behind Barry’s back. Talk about deep betrayal. Don’t tell me you’re not thinking that is what is going to happen because from the looks of things it will. I give it at least five episodes until they reveal to Barry the truth about what happened to Iris.
As for Nash Wells (Tom Cavanagh) it seems that one member of Team Flash has figured out a little secret between him and Allegra (Kayla Compton). So far we have only seen a picture revealing that Nash and his Earth’s Allegra knew each other but now it looks like details are coming closer out. Could Allegra be Nash’s daughter? I hope he comes out and reveals it to Allegra before it’s too late. Cause who knows what might happen with the rest of the season.
One last thing. I actually liked Frost (Danielle Panabaker) in this episode. She really tried her best being the one to help give advice and you can tell that she’s come a long way to trying to helping others. After everything though I would totally take advice from Frost.
Next Episode: The Flash(S06E12) “A Girl Named Sue” airs Tuesday, February 18, 2020, at 8/7c on The CW
