You’ve become so successful so fast. How do you deal with all the pressures that come from having your own business empire?
Business has always come easy to me in the way of how it works and how much time I devote to it. I’m so lucky to have an amazing team behind me, starting with my mom who helps me when I have to make difficult decisions. I feel shielded from the pressures of normal business people like “are we making enough money” or can we afford to expand etc.. I get to do a lot more of the creative side like designing and creating.
You and Eden Wood have been friends since your Toddlers and Tiaras days. How have you managed to keep up your friendship all this time?
For me, keeping the friendship with Eden Wood has been so simple because of social media and face-time, they make me feel like I can involve her in my everyday life so I never feel distant.
Did you and Eden know each other before Toddlers and Tiaras?
Kinda, Eden was super famous in the pageant circuit when I first started, she was “the one to beat ” so I got to meet her right before I filmed my first episode with Toddlers and Tiaras.
How did you get involved in Toddlers and Tiaras?
I was at a pageant and the show was there filming another girl and when they saw me on stage they asked if I could be filmed too. The next day they contacted me to be on the show, I did and the rest is history.
Did the show give you opportunities you normally wouldn’t have had, or do you think you still would be where you are without it?
That is a great question! I believe everything has a reason because it leads to another reason so I believe Toddlers and Tiaras definitely allowed me opportunities that normally I would have never had. Hard work continues to give me those opportunities and successes.
You have several businesses right now, a book coming out, and a new reality show you’re going to be on. How do you fit everything into your already packed schedule? Do you ever just have “me time?”
I have an amazing schedule that lets me have fun and be a kid most of the time. Traveling and modeling to show my brands is not really work, it‘s a lot more fun and exciting. It’s important to have a great team that I trust to help me with the businesses. I’m so lucky and can still have a normal teen life.
Tell me about this new show, “Next Big Thing NYC” that you’re starring in. What’s it about, who’s going to be in it, where can people watch it, and why should they watch it?
Next Big Thing NYC is about 8 teens who are already achieving success in their own fields, but come together as a group of BFF’s to achieve stardom. You are going to see behind the scenes of what goes into making a teen star. You will also get to see normal teen drama that happens all the time, friendships, love, and much much more. What do you like most out of everything you’re doing right now? Modeling, the businesses, the reality show? Why? And what’s next for you?
There is not one I like more because they all balance it out and it never gets boring. I love them all for different reasons.
1. Modeling I love clothing, fashion ,and walking on runway. It’s something I fell in love with since my pageant days.
2. I love business because it gives me a head start on life and what I will have to do and know as I grow.
3. I’ve always loved reality tv because most of it is showing elevated sides of your personality. It teaches you to not take things so seriously as well.
Who’s been the biggest influence in your life?
My mom is for sure one of my biggest influences. She has always been there and helped me do amazing things.
What’s something you want people to know about you that would surprise them?
I’m very sporty and an outdoor girl! I own 4 wheelers and jet skis that I love to ride.
My dad has a construction and trucking company, so I love hanging out at his worksite with the 18 wheelers too.
