Legends of Tomorrow(S05E10) “The Great British Fake Off”

Alright my readers, this episode was a great episode with many great moments to talk about. Let’s get to this review!

In this episode, we met one of DC Comics well-known sorceresses called Enchantress (Samantha Cole). Enchantress is best known as a witch who possesses June Moone. However, she has been previously illustrated as just a sorceress in the comics, ‘Strange Adventures.’ I’m actually glad we finally got a version of Enchantress on television. I was also skeptical about ever seeing Enchantress too because due to her supposedly still being a part of the Suicide Squad movies (rumor has it that is.)

We find out that Enchantress hid the last ring for the loom of fate. As a result, Constantine (Matt Ryan) had to use some magic to locate and find the ring. When the spell accidentally sends Zari (Tala Ashe) and Constantine into the past, his home was an old established hotel. They have to fight off Jack the Ripper (Timothy Lyle) and other encores including Bonnie (Abby Ross) and Clyde (Ben Sullivan). Constantine had to outwit the evil souls from hell to get the ring first.

In this episode, we also find out that Sara’s little encounter with Atropos (Joanna Vanderham) left a little out of time effect on her. While in a comatose state, we don’t  fully know the effects of what will happen to Sara. Like is Sara going to have effects of seeing things long before they ever happen? Will she go crazy? Will we ever find out?

With Constantine and Zari stuck in the past. Ava (Jes Macallan), Gary (Adam Tsekhman), and Heatwave (Dominic Purcell) went to Hell to stop Astra (Olivia Swann) from sending out the encores. There’s a problem though, Astra wasn’t sending anymore encores out to get Constantine. Not since the two of them made that arrangement. However, that didn’t stop Lachesis (Sarah Strange) from releasing them. Except for Vandal Savage (Casper Crump), the question remains; why leave him out of the party? I know the Legends sent him to Hell, but still it’s not like he’s still holding a grudge. He even said last season, there’s no hard feelings about what the Legends did to him. It would’ve been nice to still see him.

A bigger question remains, how many times has Constantine come across Enchantress? It seems by the way Constantine talked to the disguise of Enchantress that they’ve had encounters before this. I suppose we will find out eventually.
