After all the hype, I’m slightly disappointed with last night’s episode. I was really hoping Polly was going to turn out to be the killer, which would have been so morbid and crazy.… More “Chicago PD (S3E22): “She’s Got Us””

“Timing” felt more like a rewind than anything else. Most of the plot lines were repeated or re-elaborated again, which is fine to an extent. I just left the episode not feeling like I had learned anything new, or that the character’s hadn’t grown much. … More “Chicago Med (S1E18): “Timing””

I have been so excited for this episode.
Right from the start, Burgess went on a rollercoaster of emotions and I knew right away what the controversy was going to be. That excited me.… More “Chicago PD (S3E21): “Justice””

The guest star playing the alcoholic gave a great performance in Tuesdays’ episode of Chicago Med. He had a very natural ability to be so distressed. The fact that April wanted to “put a bandaid on” and give the patient a beer felt so out of character.… More “Chicago Med (S1E17): “Withdrawal””

This episode of Chicago Fire was bittersweet. Portraying death side-by-side with budding mother-child love wrecked my emotions. Speaking of the death, I personally would have liked to see the brothers relationship unfold on the matter of the liquor license a bit more before one of them died, but their last moments in the collapsing building were still impactful.… More “Chicago Fire (S4E22): “Where The Collapse Started””

After a long hiatus, Chicago PD was back with a bittersweet episode last night. Bitter in the sense that “In a Duffel Bag” focused on a baby left severely cold in a bag weighed down with rocks.… More “Chicago PD (S3E20): “In a Duffel Bag””

This was not my favorite Chicago Med to date, but it was still very well done. The title does a great job describing this episode as there was a lot of “disorder.” The featured image is only one plot arch of this disorder, but it maybe contained the biggest mess.… More “Chicago Med (S1E16): “Disorder””

“Kind of a Crazy Idea” was an episode filled with so many different heart warming moments, I felt my throat choke up along with the actors. The challenges of the foster care system where brought up delicately and furthered Dawson and Matt’s relationship.… More “Chicago Fire (S4E21): “Kind of a Crazy Idea””

Chicago Med never leaves me uninterested. “Inheritance” followed a teenager against the use of any drugs (even aspirin) with serious stomach pain. Her father, who hardly acted as one, finally gives permission for the doctors to medicate her in order to fully understand what is going on with her.… More “Chicago Med (S1E15), “Inheritance””

My favorite part about this episode was JayJay’s video project, which highlighted why the workers decided to become firemen and women. It was simple and so effective. JayJay’s final video was heartbreakingly sweet as well.… More “Chicago Fire (S4E20): “The Last One for Mom””
Chicago Med never fails to intrigue me. Wolf and the other writers have the great ability to teach viewers about the medical world of their patients that I love. I learn something every episode, and only have to look away from the screen occasionally.… More “Chicago Med (S1E14): “Hearts””

I’m still adjusting to the fact that the fire department does more than just stop fires. This is something I never thought about before. In “I Will Be Walking,” we hardly saw fire.… More “Chicago Fire (S4E19): “I Will Be Walking””

If there’s one thing this episode was, it certainly wasn’t “Kasual.” “Kasual With A K” followed two cases, a shooting at a Women’s Shelter and catching “cat-fishers” on the dating app, “Kasual.”… More “Chicago PD (S3E18): “Kasual With A K””
