Lucifer – Why It Needs To Be Saved
Why Save Lucifer?
With the #SaveLucifer campaign in full speed, over 200,000 petition signatures, and no intention of stopping anytime soon, it begs to question why should networks and streaming services care?… More “Lucifer – Why It Needs To Be Saved”
Lucifer (S03E14) "My Brother’s Keeper"
“My Brother’s Keeper” is the fourteenth episode of the third season of the series. Written by Joe Henderson (who is also one of the showrunners) and Jason Ning, and directed by Claudia Yarmy, it gets a B.… More “Lucifer (S03E14) "My Brother’s Keeper"”
Lucifer (S03E13) "Til Death Do Us Part"
Written by Mike Costa and directed by Sherwin Shilati, “Til Death Do Us Part” is the thirteenth episode of the third season of Lucifer, and I give it a B.
The episode picks off just where “All About Her” ends, with Lucifer (Tom Ellis) and Cain (Tom Welling) trying to find a way to kill the latter, going through a list of ideas about how to kill him, using even, unsuccessfully, Maze’s (Lesley-Ann Brandt) blade forged in Hell, which can kill even Celestial beings.… More “Lucifer (S03E13) "Til Death Do Us Part"”
Lucifer (S03E12) "All About Her"
Written by Alex Katsnelson and directed by Tara Nicole Weyr, “All About Her” is the first Lucifer episode of 2018 and resumes the main story line after the hiatus that began after “The Sin Bin”.… More “Lucifer (S03E12) "All About Her"”
Lucifer (S03E11) "City of Angels?"
Welcome to 2018, people! Not even a whole day after we entered the New Year, the Lucifer gang got us in for a treat. And what a treat that was! The funniest episode of the season so far, “City of Angels?”… More “Lucifer (S03E11) "City of Angels?"”
Lucifer (S03E10) "The Sin Bin"
I’ll give this two-parter a B, being it an A- for the last episode, and a B+ for this one, but don’t get me wrong, this was a good episode. Written by Sheri Elwood and directed by Greg Beeman, it is well written and directed, takes us to some stunning locations and has a HUGE revelation by the end of it, which, as a nice reviewer, I won’t spoil.… More “Lucifer (S03E10) "The Sin Bin"”
Lucifer (S03E09) "The Sinnerman"
Let’s not forget this episode is a thrilling first part of a two-parter, and it was great. Considering this is a two-parter, I’ll give it a joint grade on the next episode’s review.… More “Lucifer (S03E09) "The Sinnerman"”
Lucifer (S03E08) "Chloe Does Lucifer"
No, it’s not what it looks like, but it doesn’t make this episode less awesome. This time around, top hat-turned-shoe Lucifer and Chloe investigate a murder which involves social media and dating apps, making it even more relatable to nowadays.… More “Lucifer (S03E08) "Chloe Does Lucifer"”
Lucifer (S03E07) "Off the Record"
This episode gets an A. Its format is a bit different from what we’re used to seeing on Lucifer, but it definitely worked. “Off the Record” is one of the carryovers from Season 2, written by Chris Rafferty, Jen Graham Imada and Mike Costa, and revolves around the journalist Reese Getty, played by Patrick Fabian, who deserves props for his work in this episode, but even more for appearing in every single scene.… More “Lucifer (S03E07) "Off the Record"”
Lucifer (S03E06) "Vegas with Some Radish"
This episode gets a big and fat “A” from this reviewer. It is funny as always, Lucifer once again has some relation to the case of the week, it is incredibly Deckerstar (may I say I am on board of the Deckerstar Express) and also gives us background on some characters such as Ella and Candy, and also on some situations, like what happened when Lucifer fleed to Vegas after finding out Chloe was a Miracle.… More “Lucifer (S03E06) "Vegas with Some Radish"”
Lucifer (S03E05) "Welcome Back, Charlotte Richards"
Lucifer is back with its fifth episode of the season, this time with the beloved Charlotte Richards. That’s right, mum is back! Or is she?
Before I talk about the episode itself, let me just say how much I loved to see Trixie in the beginning of the episode, as well as Lucifer and Chloe interacting with her and Trixie and Lucifer bonding once again.… More “Lucifer (S03E05) "Welcome Back, Charlotte Richards"”
Lucifer (S03E04) "What Would Lucifer Do?"
This weeks episode began with a scene we’ve seen many-a-time before, Lucifer in bed with another one night stand… and dressed in a floral kimono, in truly unapologetic way (nice to see a male lead not ruled by fragile masculinity!)… More “Lucifer (S03E04) "What Would Lucifer Do?"”
Lucifer (S03E03) "Mr. and Mrs. Mazikeen Smith"
It’s this season’s third episode and I think we all were really pleased to have our beloved Mazikeen back with some much-deserved screen time. And I need to say: my Maze and Linda ‘shipping’ heart loved the opening scene between these two strong female characters a lot.… More “Lucifer (S03E03) "Mr. and Mrs. Mazikeen Smith"”
Lucifer (S03E01) "They're Back Again, Aren't They?"
HELL-O! Our favorite devil is back, and this time he’s got wings. Lucifer came back for its third season this past Monday, and with its impressive past seasons, the stakes are high for this one of a kind show.… More “Lucifer (S03E01) "They're Back Again, Aren't They?"”
Lucifer (S02E18) “The Good, The Bad, The Crispy”
Amenadiel finds out that he’s Dad’s favorite by discovering that God gave him the key to the Flaming Sword which kinda puts Lucifer’s nose out of joint causing him to hurt his brother’s feelings.… More “Lucifer (S02E18) “The Good, The Bad, The Crispy””
Lucifer (S02E17) “Sympathy For The Goddess”
Lucifer, Amenadiel and Charlotte are in need of the final piece of the Flaming Sword. They use the human Charlotte’s client list and find a client who could help them by hooking them up with an ancient artifact.… More “Lucifer (S02E17) “Sympathy For The Goddess””
